As college students work together to find out, there are factors that will slow down learning which might be difficult to get the student to control: thoughts, emotions and habit can be inspired by other folks in a way that produces prejudice, splendour and very small diversity in the classroom. Like a method to socially bring the learners together, the strategy of jigsaw technique was implemented in their classroom as a way to make certain that students were working cooperatively together and sharing data and tips to complete as assignment although supporting and inspiring classmates. Aronson saw the need for change and created a approach that would encourage student learning. It was critical that students show up at school and find out without the anxiety about discrimination, bias or bullying (Aronson, 2000). In the jigsaw method, every single group affiliate had been given a different component to a popular person's existence to study. Pupils were then responsible for researching their certain area and sharing that information with members from all other groups that had been assigned similar area. After students discussed, explained and shared their information with the counterparts, that they returned for their own group and distributed the information with them. Every person became an experienced in their location and utilized cooperative learning how to share with classmates (Aronson, 2000). The jigsaw classroom was selected since it represents the affects that placing students in an environment that is aggressive, discriminatory and prejudice may have on students' self-esteem and self-worth. When learners were initial placed into areas with students of different ethnicity, it immediately created an aggressive environment that was not conducive to learning.
